concept carbon vs modsrx


yeah meen ethier I beleive the numbers are off big time, he was alittle unsure on the setup. torque was good but hp was low. He is going to calibrate his dyno on tuesday and let us know if it was off. He also had alot of trouble with the comp, was haveing trouble setting the temp correctly.

I ended up pulling 139.8hp :o| 92.21ft tq ;)! at 8479 and another pull was same but my peak hp was at 8044rpm #$%&* on a dynomite land and sea He said it ussually gets around 10-15hp less the most dynos

atleast u beat me 138.2 hp and 92.17 ft-lb at 8600 :o| :o|


i guess i made a tow sled lolll

You now know where to clutch your sleds!

Remember talk is just that...the Dyno tells the story for that particular Dyno, operator, corrections ect. With the work you have done, I would say many of us would not see anywhere near the peak power you saw today on that Dyno under the same conditions.
The value of the numbers are only really relevant when compared to identical conditions/corrections...on that note I see modsrx was not much different with a well tuned modded sled. Makes you wonder about all those Big HP. Numbers guys throw around doesn't it!

true I got what I wanted for clutching. I was always setting my clutch for 8600 so now I guess I will go for 8200-8300 and climb to 8500 will be close anough.

there is alot to running one of those land and sea dyno's. And I have seen stuff make power on dyno and not another due to the many variables that are involved. The best way to use one is to take it to the same dyno every time and dont really get caught up with some else's numbers.
 
Yeah We Know Many Factor Could Cause Those Number Just Can't Be Sure If They Are Real ;)!
