good 89A-10 set-up for 1000'???

THOSE WORK NICE FOR SPEEDS RUNS. I THINK I WOULD START AROUND 55 GRAMS. POSSIBLEY STOCK SRX SPRING OR W-W-W. MAYBE 48-40ISH CAM WITH RED SPRING, 80 TWIST, STOCK GEARING. RADAR RUNS ARE TUFF BEST SET-UP IS ONE THAT YOU CAN REAL TEST FOR ON GUN. 3:16 (yammie tony)

89A-10 WEIGHTS ARE 92 VMAX 4 WEIGHTS. THEY WERE 46.7 GRAMS EMPTIE. I THINK THEY HAVE A SIMILAR PROFILE TO THOSE, BUT ARE NOTHING LIKE 8BU-00. THEY ARE A REAL GOOD ALL- AROUND TOP END / LAKE RUNNING WEIGHT. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Im running those arms in my 98 srx with 2.4tip and 3.1g w/y/w, red sec spring
at 70 with an msr8...helix..52/40...never run in radar but that set up really pulls... Im traction limited with a new 1" hacksaw no picks.....

I'm not going to be running stock gearing.

I'll be running a lowered 2000 SRX700 with a .5 speed track with 96-120 ice picks. What does this setup pull for engagement and top end rpm's??

My trail stock sled with a trail studded 3/4" track with an 89a-10 setup semi-similar to what yammiegod suggested ran 103 on the gun in a 1/4 mile on extreme hard pack.
89a-10's 55.4grams, hauck 49-41 G helix, hauck black primary, hauck silver secondary set at 3 and 3.

will we see u this weekend.. ?? cant wait to put a face with ur screen name..?? Will u be at cheteck.. the NSSR last race off the year.. come on out i will give u all the help u need..!! see yah saturday...!! Stan crew chief...

If those weights are the same as the Hauck X weights they pull hard but i lost 5 mph top end when i used them vs the 8Bu-00. I'm 220. Im lowered with pixx too. Like Tony recommends those 8BU-10s i hear are good. I have never tried i like the 8Bu-00 weights for both drag and 1000 feet. NOw i also know a guy who runs those haucks and beat me my only loss. But he has a speed track and titanium chisels so i bet he would of got beat if i had that...

No my sled is torn apart right now plus it is my sons 3rd birthday this weekend so I won't be at Cheteck. I'm trying really hard right now to get my old Polaris Ultra back right now also and if I do I might be at the Weenie Roast with that. I would love to go to Crane Lake on the 5th but man that is a long ways away from me. I should be up and running my SRX next winter full force. I do have a question for you, Reids or Parents about my primary clutch. Do any of you guys know a good guy to rebuild my primary and have it balanced?

Like I told you earlier, I can rebuild that primary and don't worry about rebalancing it.

Yeah I know and I probably will have you do it. I was just wondering if there was somebody right around here close to home.

WHAT GEARING YOU GONNA USE. ? 3:16 (yammie tony)
Not sure yet I will have to do some testing once the sled is back together. probably go to a taller setup somewhere around 1.50 gear ratio
