take this however you wish but if it were me id be running bigger pilots, i have an 800 with bender quads, no porting and I'm gonna start with 52.5's with fuel screws at minimum 2.5 turns out to start.

The stock vmax4 800s had 499 series Q-4 needle jets and the 700 SRXs have 499 series Q-6 needle jets so you could install 4 SRX needle jets and see if it improves your lean condition.
As a side note:
I have my 96 VMAX4 set up basically the same as this and have close to 6000 trouble free miles on it since the porting and Aaen pipe installation and have NOT had to richen up my needle jets beyond Q-4s.
