vmax4-800


is it possible to run a pink secondary spring with a aggresive helix in those vmax 4 ......green and grey the secondary shift wayyyyyyyyyyyyy to fast with a 50-43
 
90508-60012 ----pink yamaha factory secondary ...green and silver doesnt hold the clutch at all ....u move 50 feet and its already shift

my sled work awsome blue ..told my friend to put bigger jet in it but he got a hard head ....8bu-10 work good need to get a bit more top end out of it ....he got a overheating problem too so............ will see at the end of the week ;)! ...they backshift good

possible don't know tony .....will try almost a stock helix and see ...the beast overshift wayyyyyyyyyy to fast .... ;)!

why blue ???? they perform like the 8dn-20 and they seem to have a pretty good backshift

i never wind spring more than 80 or less than 60 ......but to run those helix will need something with alots more pressure than the stock one
 
we got the motor all back together and did some test with the new o2 sensor in a pipe .....sled is running wayyyyyyyyyyy to lean for midrange .....who think we should put back all the air box original not empty .....
 
for sure it didnt help .....midrange suppose to be around 13.5 to 14 cruising speed ..it was over 18 and guage turn n/a so need to cured that mid trouble and then will see for the main jet
 
were the needles updated when the motor switch was done? 800 carbs take different needles than 750's. What size pilots are in it?
 
pilot size are 50 ..carb came from 800 and the correct needle is there ....iddle sled running good at 14 on the air fuel ratio ..till u hit the needle setting pushing on gaz
