Thanks, I am going for a oem look. Just was looking and Im not sure a nytro lights going to work right yet. Maybe if i put the light closer to the seat. My hole for my vent screw is about in the center of the tunnel so i got to look whats going to work.

The srx cooler will work but will need some mods for sure. If it was me I would try and trade that srx cooler for a mtn cooler or try to sell and find a mtn cooler. will fit perfect in tunnel ext and the bleeder plug wont interfere with light. but im running a srx cooler in my new viper and ther should still be room. I can take some pics for ya In am if ya want.

I started to mod it for the srx cooler tonight. It will work I just need to start cutting the sides. I really can't mount the extension on, I got to get a hold of Tracks USA. Never got any papers on how to mount it. Went to their website and they don't have instructions for mounting it. Im not sure but it looks like it it mounts on top not underneath. Tried on top and underneath and it seems on top is how it goes. Underneath is not even close to matching up.

The description I have seen for tracksusa extensions is that they fit over your existing tunnel or extension. I don't know if they are stand alone extensions like other manufacturers.

So far what i got done. Had to mod the tunnel a lot. More then what i thought. It was a pain in the butt, but is done now. The pic with the exchanger protector got hit with studs. I wondered why and now i know. The owner before me never lined both of them up right. I fixed that now. Had to smooth the one down.

Finally got the extension on and all mounted up. Took awhile but looks all good. Had to fill in the piece that was missing below where the cooler comes out. I thought it looked like crap so i filled it in. The old part of the tunnel where the snow flap was connect worked good for the fill piece. Just had to cut them off and mod them a bit but looks way better now.

Lifted up the sled last night and pulled the skid out. Called it a night after that. Today I when and ordered a rear wheel since the snowmobile shop only had one new one. Pulled all four rear wheels last night to find both outer wheels had bad bearings and one of the middle ones did also. working on getting the rail extensions on today and pulling the track also.

Those rails look like there on the wrong sides? Or are you just fitting them up? On mine that machined window for the slack adjusters is on the inside and the outside of the rails are flush on the outside.

X2 that is mounted on the wrong side. The track usa logo should show through track adjuster window so you can see it. This one is mounted on backwards!! Sorry man but work looks nice, better to catch now then later. Should look like this http://www.totallyamaha.net/forums/showthread.php?86904-Pair-of-vipers-go-144-quot/page9 Post #85. Chris

Oops my bad. I thought they looked kind of funny that way, but the funny part is they line up right. Oh well got to switch them. Like you said better to catch it now then later.

here are some pics of mine too. I'm surprised that the hyfax strip lined up. There are a bunch of brands that do bolt on the outside. The design of the tracksusa rails look oem and are patented for strength. The interlocking island and that lower bolt really make them the best out there.

Thanks for the catch of that being backwards. Must have been thinking it was a hartman extension for some reason. Got it all switched around now. Here are some pics of taking the chain case apart. I got to go grab a puller to get the bearing of the shaft.

Didn't you mount a set of extra wheels on the rail before the tips up?? Looks like it needs them on mine.

Yes I did and its a must have with tip ups. That becomes the rear axle point when on trails. Want to mount on outside if rail lined up with bottom bolt used to fasten the extension to rail at hyfax. That hole and one above line up perfect with boggie wheel mount. Just pick up 2 from here with boggies. Same set up as the 2 front boggies. Works perfect!
