old gas or clutches?

Try going through your primary clutch. Could be ready for a rebuild. Maybe spring binding or wore weights or something. Maybe Slop in bushings. Got the right belt on it?

I'll get my clutch service tool for primary inspection. The sled did not have that problem before it sat for 2 years.

Hmm, kind of a tough one. Carbs are clean and clutches are clean...I would assume while cleaning the clutches you'd have noticed if something was badly worn. Plus it didn't have this problem before.

Stator isn't a bad thought, could be a lot of rust built up around the pick up coil that needs cleaned off after sitting two years. If the stator is weak/going out you may be able to unplug the headlight (hand and grip warmers off too) and see if it responds better with less load. When mine was going out it would bog bad when I hit 6k rpm with the handwarmers on, but ran good with them off.

Blocked exhaust isn't a bad idea to check too, especially with a lot of mice around.
 
I had a friend last year on his SX500r. He ran out of fuel out on the trail and was towed back to camp. The action of running the tank dry and sucking shtuff off of the bottom, almost completely plugged his pilots. Pulled carbs, clean pilots and he was good to go.
 
I really feel like it's the clutches. It does not want to accelerate out the hole like it is suppose to. It feels like there is something that's physically keeping it from doing that.

Once it gets going a certain speed or rpm, it's fine. It also does well on the jackstand.

It has 7800 miles on it with a Hauck #4 clutch kit in it since almost new with the 89A-10 flyweights.

I would recommend using oem parts if you rebuild the clutches. I used the cheap kit on primary and secondary and had to modify the bushings just to get them to fit in the clutch. If you take the cap off and push the primary in and look where the bushing sits when the clutch is disengaged it can get gunky from sitting. Might be able to clean that with some fine sandpaper and it may help. The secondary could have the same.
