i am going to do a 136" conversion, still trying to deciede 1.25" or 1.5". i loved the ripsaw but need more length for off trail riding. i was thinking $450. it has 144 extreme max stainless studs with 96 of them on woodys double angled backers and 48 on woodys single round backers. all down the middle. looks great and its the best set up to prevent tear outs.03viperguy said:what you want for the ripsaw? and why are you trading and what to?
SpiderViper said:I definitly recomend getting the 2" bar risers i have had my viper for a season and a half and saw a great diffrence in the quality of the ride. I am 6 2" so when i used to stand up i would be bent pretty far and this really helps. But I'm still pretty hunched so i'm thinkig about the 8" inch ajustable ones. If you are thinking about the seat riser you might want to think another inch on the handle bars also.![]()

Heimdall said:It hurts even more to see some guys riding 1000 of miles with their Yamaha without even change a belt or a spark. Unfortunately my viper wasn´t as bulletproof as i hoped it would be.
I´m convinced that bad jetting caused this to happen.
SRX RIDER said:If you are looking to go higher check out the type I used from Rox. I think the highest they make is 5" but the nice thing about them is the ability to go forward and backward as opposed to just "getting a rise". I'm 5'10" so the 2" is pretty good for me. If I was hardcore standup I would have considered at least 3.5", but the big problem then is the cables and wiring. I know mountain cables are long enough, but the wiring harness looks like it would become a problem. I don't know how you work around that one?
Here's a pic. Notice I was actually able to move the bars forward instead of keeping them in line with the steering shaft. The adjustability is sweet.
