I noticed that yesterday (my post, #89). The pic's that he posted in TY had the Ohlins, but the epay pic's didn't. Figured you got hosed yet again, but I didn't want to expose him directly until you confirmed that was the sled and made the final call to bring him out. I'm glad he's exposed now so others can get a 'heads up'.

I am only going to make this one post so take it for what it is worth. I purchased this sled with a trailer from a guy in northern IN. It had not sold by the holiday's so we took it north to ride. On day 4 of riding 1 piston went south at a low speed. Tore down the upper half, purchased new OEM parts for $385.00 and had the 1 jug honed out by a local up there, nice guy. This was all done in a dimly lit pole barn and i did not see this JB Weld bs repair, had NO idea it was there. Ran 1/2 a tank of break-in fuel and brought it home, ran great. Travis came out and bought the sled which was sold in good faith. I would NEVER sell anything that had an undisclosed bs jerry rig repair. I would not have put a dime into the motor knowing what I know now, would have shopped around for a good used engine. There was no way for me to tell this repair was lurking when I bought it, seller sold it to me as recently freshened up and that's exactly as I sold it with my freshening up. I left Travis positive feedback on this purchase within days of him buying it.......would I do that knowing there was a imminent melt down? Would I have had him come to my home? Would I answer his calls? I had nothing to hide and still don't. Within 8 hours of our phone call yesterday I refunded him our agreed upon amount. I am extremely mad as Travis is and will try to get him some more $ from the guy I bought it from. I am a stand up guy and there is always 2 sides to every story. Me and Travis are on the same page and will stay in contact. All you folks making the pre-mature negative comments should think twice before commenting on a particular situation, not all sellers are scum bags.
A very stand up thing to do!!! with the money I got back from back-on-blue and a very generous donation from blk04700 I am looking at being about $400 out of pocket....... not bad, not bad at all!!!
Because of a strong online community and great people a $1,000 Nightmare is going to cost $400!!!
