raced 1000ft with gfs dad on his apex ran about a sled lenght behind him with a little clutching. Beat another srx for a joke and a well tuned xc700. was very impressed. Will i have to still run engagement shims with a blue hauck spring? and yes so far i love these weights Yammiegod

what are your rpm's at launch and wot..What kinds speeds are you seeing also..just curious.I have a new setup done tonight. Will test it out either tomorrow or early in the week.We are suppose to get some snow tommorrow..so won't be a good day to do a run..Not many places smooth out here..either bumpy to hell or snow covered..ned to run on almost ice conditions to see what she'll do.I have been over reving to 8600 and had to get that down..we'll see.

My clutch engages just shy of 4k rpm and hits around 8000-82 at wot. hits about 98-100mph in 1000ft on the dreamometer. tracton yesterday was mediocre at best but was pretty good considering it was +2 c . I seem to be hitting 8500 consistantly. mabe a little over but hard to tell. I was talking to a guy the other day who used to race these srxs and he was saying that the tachs are a few hundred rpms off ..any body else here that or was he just a critic. he seem to know his sh*t though. Knew all about the 8bus

Tried the blue hauck spring with a temporary shim i cowboyied up..and got my engagment to 4500..and wow she jumps to 8500 right out of the hole. Im getting next to no traction because its raining here and all our snow is melting but it felt strong. seemed to be over reving in the top end but will test again on a better day. if we get anymore. im happy now for a day or too. thanks for the advice. 8BUS all the way....I dont see any names on the helix my guess would be Dalton?...my hauck, bender and megapower all have there names on it so...what ever it is she works.

can you post a pic of the helix? are the helix angles engraved on the side of one of the helix ramps? is the helix kinda like gold plated/anodized?

my sled had 8dn 20s in it before i changed to 8bus, I dont find the back shifting as good but the gains are worth it i trail rode all day yesterday with no complaints, hammer the throttle at any speed and it pulls hard and *** sidways out of the turns.
