Cool looking Viper! She couldn't find a way to get more pink on the skid? I've been watching this thread and thinking of the day I get to build a pink sled. it'll be a few years. Great project, great work, and great excuse to spend some time with your daughter before she gets too cool for you.

I can remember that..........screemin through the school yard on my new JDX8. I was on top of the world. Or was it the JDX6. No I think it was my Spitfire.
I have contracted a serious case of CRS.

We'll i was going to wait to post these till we had the rest of are parts but im going to anyway. It turned out AWESOME!!!!!!! We are going to go with a white holeshot skidplate and white slp/slt skis with keel blades. I want this to be as stable as possible for her and i liked what ive seen from those skis. Been looking at them for a while for me. That should really set the front off. They dont make pink loops but we will just paint them with plastic paint and hope for the best with durability. We still also need new grips, wire in heated shield plug and a few other small odds and ends. The reverse lever hole turned out really nice, got to tell ya i was pretty nervous cutting that hole out. So were not quite done yet so more final pics to come when we put the finishing touches on it. So stay tuned for the final pic's................

That turned out great guys. Good job!! Chris the whole for the reverse lever looks great. I know what you mean about being nervous. I had to instal the led spoilers on a buddies screamin eagle dresser and I was sweatin bullets drilling the holes in his bags!!!

Nice work it turned out great! That white skid plate will certainly go good with it!
Tell your daugther she does some nice work...must get it from her dad lol. Now the thing to finish it off I think, if possible, would be a set of pink handlebar grips haha. Probably hard to find those though.

I did this to my 97 SX7 only in red. Looked great.......then it started to 'CRACKLE' where ever I had painted it red.
Just wanted for you to be ready when/if ever it happens.
Ended up putting a longer flap on with the TY logo on it. Got it from someone in the classifieds for $10.I think he won it in a TY Trivia contest.
It might have been just me.......but I would almost swear that the sled ran cooler also after I put it on.

Its actually Pink duct tape! So when it gets nasty looking i can just peel it off and redo it. Ive used duct tape in cold aplications many times so i hope this holds up ok. We shall see.
