We got a ton of small stuff done today. Finished the trailing arms. They turned out awesome!!!!!!!! BIGTIMEFARMER's buddy did a fantastic job on the sticks. Got the control arm covers on. So front end is ready to be put together, just waiting on a few parts. Put a lot of the suspension together best i could, giving it the total BTV treatment. (waiting on bushings for suspension, front end also). Polished and cleaned every last part we have left to be put on. Daughter did most of that. Nothing funner then cleaning out the c-clip groves on the wheels with a tooth brush. So we can see the end in sight. Here's some pic's of the stuff we got on and preped.

Just not sure i could get the paint to hold up on the plastic to make it worth it. But ya it had crossed my mind. Will probably go with a white skid plate, a full ultra 2. That will keep in line with the white shock covers. we shall see, kinda changing as the colors come together.

I have been searching a ton for those and a pink skid plate. I did find pink hyfax that fit up to a 2001 bravo. Just not sure if rail style is the same. Any thought on that? Im not sure when the rail style changed?

97-06 trailing arm yamahas(vmax, venom, viper, srx, etc) should have the same hyfax, although I know that the Bravos have a different hyfax on them, at least according to my book.
Bravo hyfaxs are a different length, and it says they have a different profile as well. They use the same hyfax from like 1981-2010.
Hope that helps.

Decided to get the front end put together. Nothings been lined up or loctite yet, have to wait till the end and do everything at once. I just wanted to get some parts out of the way and i know if i just left them sitting around something would happen or fall on them. You know how that goes. Done for a while as were waiting on parts now.

Sled looks pretty cool. Other than the "girls rule" stickers, I would ride it with the pink set up and everything.
I would let people laugh at me, they just noticed me, and sometimes, thats all that matters!

You could use pink rivets on the white skid plate. maybe with another "girls rule" sticker. Could add extra rivets to get the pink thing goin' on.....thinking out loud

What is the chance of being able to dye a white skid plate pink? What type of plastic are the skid plates made out of?

Now were talking. I love all the thinking here. I really like the pink rivet idea and i know you can do pink backers also for studs. The only thing about doing dye on a white skid plate is a new ultra 2 is a hundo. Hate to mess that up. But if i could find a used one and give that a try. Ive read and youtubed how to dye plastic and i think it could be done, white is the best. And like tip said about pink splatter on the black belly pan. WOW that could be cool. I know you can do plastic paint. And if it wears off who cares, it was cool anyhow. Im going to run those ideas by my daughter as she is still in charge of creative design as she calls it. Thanks for all the help guys, keep the ideas comming.

might be a silly question, but has anyone ever seen a clear skid plate?? this would allow splatter black or pink FIRST, then cover with the opposite color on the back side in order for it all to show through. thinking out loud
