did ya change pilot size?

maybe not, but why a burdown with 150's for mains? Pilots should be changed though with those quad pipes on it.

RUSTMAN, PILOTS WOULD NEVER EVER CAUSE A BURNDOWN LIKE THIS. 3:16 (yammie tony)

I believe the carb vents may be in the Airbox. With the vents in the airbox I run 157.5s on my ported/piped 800 for trail riding for safe jetting...155s are as lean as I would dare run.

so 150's are quite lean, I'm new to the 800 motor. thanks for the info.

ONLY if you are runnimg the car vent lines IN THE AIRBOX.
The stock VMAX4s have the carb vent lines hanging down under the carbs just like the SRXs

AGAIN PROBLEY FUEL IS THE CULPRIT. WHAT ARE YOU USEING. PILOTS ARE A FRACTION OF JETTING SPEC ON A VMAX 4 WITH QUADS. THEY CONTROL YOUR IDLE. NOW VERY VERY CRITICAL IS MAINS AND NEEDLES. WHEN YOUR ON THE THROTTLE HARD ON A 4 BANGER YOUR PILOTS ARE A AFTER THOUGHT. 3:16 (yammie tony)

PSI CALLED OUT 132.5 MAINS ON THEIR QUADS ON THE 800. NEEDLE/ raised DROP TO CLIP 4. IT WAS A DIFFERENT TIME FOR FUEL THAN. 3:16 (yammie tony)

all plug was very very light tanned brown almost white so that beast was running lean for sure ...........will put 157 or 155 and install a o2 gauge and see what it does.....temp at 0

bob i check and they are not vented in the air box .....does it make it richer or leaner
