Worst Winter Ever

that clipper is only supposed to give us around 2 to 4 cm's..not to much,don't know what will be left for you guys.Yesterday we got between 3 to 4 inch's,it fell nice and quiet(no wind) and compact..driveway shows about that amount..winds tomorrow will destroy it all again and whip it around like usual.
 

Let it snow, Let it snow... Been riding like crazy.. Tons of snow my way and everywhere around me.. 2300kms on sled so far and putting on about 1000 before the end of this weekend.. Woo gotta love that white stuff.. I feel bad for everyone that doesnt have that beautiful white stuff on the ground.. Been there for the past few years and now that the snow has finally come its PLAY time... Sorry guys..

Hey Doug, you been out enjoying the powder? We hit the Red river on Sunday and went up to St. Agathe then cut across and went down the Rat River and tore her up..
 
only put on 75 km's last Sunday with my 600. Wasn't much fun riding with the 600..to slow for me.Glad you are enjoying the white stuff.Haven't been riding much lately between the cold and now.I just ride from my place to St Adolph ,go around on the Red to the Floodgates,hit the Hwy and back home..pretty boring..lol. Basically used up the gas fund for this season already..got other things to pay first..but enjoy it while you can.I gather you are not going to Red River Yamaha this month for demo rides.Looks like last year demos of them 4 strokes didn't turn you on much.I know you love your Viper,it has been good to you and didn't cost you that much....I was still blown away when you told me a friend of yours rides an Apex and basically pays over $700 to insure it a season,that is nuts man.
 
Ya I do love that Viper... Have been thinking about going to the demo rides. Havnt decided yet though.. I am still looking for an Apex and will get when the price is right,but will keep that Viper and ride her till the day I die, or she dies...lol..
 
I got Yellow(Limited Status) on trails down southern Ontario. District 3 with more snow this week and some next after the one day thaw & rain/snow mix it should be good for the Long Weekend.

NOTE: Family Day Weekend is FREE RIDE FEB 16-18 INCLUSIVE. You have to get the pass online and print it and have it with you though. Via the Buy permit button there is a selection for the TRY OUR TRAILS which is $0.00. I am ramping up for that 3 day burst of some running.

With most of the other trails RED, closed. Having read the OFSC site it is ILLEGAL to be on them and you can be charged regardless of Insurance and permits you carry. Which pretty well wrote off all Ontario this winter. Some trails have come to limited status and a few way north got a touch of green.
 
Heading back to Quebec again Friday for a couple of days,(Temiscaming/Ville Marie) takes me approximately 4.5 hours .

The ride is a little long however I don't mind knowing that I will have plenty of snow and get a couple of good runs in.
 
Going back up to the beach this weekend.The trails there are open as said and confermaned they are open by the passing by 2 seperate trail checks.No tickets just a frendly wave.

we'll be up in the midland area. i'll be riding with my brother, dad and our friends. 2 srx's, apex, skidoos, n some other sleds im sure.... :letitsnow
 
FINALLY getting some snow today and tomorrow. 15 - 25 cm. Suppose to warm up to 6 Celsius on Monday and rain all day.

Cannot win with this sport.

we just got 3" of powder. still snowin slowly, but not as good as it was before. I think GTA area will see the most snow out of this storm. Supposed to be the worst storm in years!!! I'll believe that when I see it...as for Monday it will be +6 with 2-4mm of rain, not much we can do. but its better than the 10-15mm we were supposed to get before, it was calling for above 0 temps two days in a row and rain both days at the start of the week. so it could still get better yet. don't loose faith my friend.... :letitsnow
 
10 cm so far with another 25 expected today. If the trails don't go green over the weekend, then something is wrong with the OFSC. 4 Celsius on Monday with rain/snow mixed so that is looking better.
 
Didnt look to closely, but I was just out to clear the wifes car off and snow was pouring in my snowboots to my bare feet. :whine:
Yesterdays snow was still in my drive though.
Time to bust out the Toro.
 
District 9 (where I mostly ride) still does not have trails open. I expect to see a lot of green over the weekend. Got that groomers? Get off your asz and prep those trails.
