Worst Winter Ever

Figures.
Sleds ready to terrorize the trails and we have 2 days of rain starting today and no sign of new snow for a week.
Last time I rode it raining and I guess I'm getting wet today again. Might be another short ride. lol

These things are ride and fix ride and fix! This year I've replaced a shock ski spindle windshield slides marginal wheel.. And now bearings yeah for me! Just my luck soon as its done another 60 degree hit from Mother Nature!

just checked the usps site..looks like the pv cables cleared customs 11:30 am today and are now in Canada, maybe a couple more days and SRX will be back running..

well, picked up the sled Friday night from my mechanic and went north to penetanguishene. beautiful weekend all weekend. tons of powder. Saturday we went out for about 7-8hrs, trails were rough as hell....feel sorry for my sled. today was awesome tho, 5hr run on high speed groomed trails! couldn't have asked for a better weekend. I don't know what he did to my sled, didn't ask and don't care....but it is a rocket! anywhere from 140-150km/hr today on the trails non stop. got lots of videos too! very impressed with this sled! whole different animal....

It's now raining in south and central Ontario. Well maybe next year for sleddin'. This year is done given the rate the snow groomers work here.

Desbicable.

to bad you have had a rough season there..SRX_700..we still have over a month of riding at least left..Good base with lots of powder on top.still gonna put on some more miles on the sleds..best winter in 3 years..don't rely on groomers, just get out to the countryside and give her.

Good to hear you finally got some seat time.
;)!

Raining in most parts of Ontario now with snow deteriorating by the minute. Not much snow in the forecast for the next 14 days.

ya we had a blast, so much snow up there. sled is amazing too! definitely needs a new track next yr, and some other work. i gave my mechanic a list of things to do, but it was getting close to me leaving so i just told him to make it run and we would deal with it in the spring. hes really slow, but its worth the wait.

Very nice
Hopefully it stays cold

went over to Bala Saturday, on the way home my brother and our buddy and i were out front of the 12 riders we were with, it was dark. well our buddy was way ahead of us to the point my brother n I didn't know what way he went. so we ended up getting lost and on our way to open water! when it starts getting really slushy and steam is rising of the lake, its a bit of an eerie feeling. we turned around and finally got back with the pack after about 20-30mins of searching. our buddies dad then proceeded to tell my brother n I, we were going straight for open water! this was in honeymoon bay area. lots of little inlets, islands, rivers, etc. moral of the story....if ya don't know, don't go!

rain has stopped here, didn't lose much. trails did close out of Fergus thismorning though. that forecast will change again by the time im done typing this post. were supposed to get 2-4cm tonight, so if the groomers were out doin what they are supposed to do, the rain wont wreck the trails as bad.

Trails are starting to close again in District 9. Loosing faith in this sport. Spring will be here shortly. Currently Sunny out and +6 Celsius.

Ouch.
