Just an FYI for you guys on the Firecat bars. Polaris Pro-XR440 bars are the exact same as the Firect bars.

one peice with the hooks? heat till the end? I think it would really make a nice addition to Darth Viper and my sled too lol!

They don't heat till the end of the hook, but with the power the old 2 strokes put out to the handwarmers they get nice and toasty. Correction- mine have 5 inch risers not 6, you may want 6 on a viper. Here's a couple pics, its a pretty simple install. If you guys want more info please pm me, I don't want to hijack Don's thread anymore.

darth viper hits the outside light

Getting just about done with the chassis, needs seat put on, 1 steering arm put on and hose and hose covers and chassis is done, then we shall move on to the motor build up, looks like plans have changed and its going to be the BIG engine put in it.
I made the hood screens satin black, I mean why stop now with the black....lol. Need to paint sides of bulkhead by upper shock mounts yet, thats next on the list this week. I cant wait to give it a bath and make all the plastic all shiny on it, should really look good then, theres no armor all or anything on it as of now.

Thanx Guys, seats on and done. I started with a brand new 03 viper seat right out of the yamaha box and used a black vinyl dye on the stripe, the stuff works pretty good, hopefully it will withstand the elements and be rub thru resistant, showing the blue color beneath. I also added a clear rear tailight. Look at the reflection in the tunnel extension of the seat, this is a testament as to the awesome paint work done by: 02srx ,on this site, Bob is a artist!

the engine will be a little bit of this and a little bit of that....lol, some boring, some stroking of the crank, some serious case porting, some head work, and great big carbs! stay tuned.
