Yes it will quiet this sled up quite a bit. It can be repacked with packing made for dirt bikes which is a fiberglass mat material, do a search at Rockmountainatv.com to get an Idea, or if you have a store that has offroad equipment/supplies for dirt bikes or ATV's they should carry it, think it aobut $20. I have seen people put actual fiberglass house insulation in dirtbike silencers but it doesn't last long.

well im not planing on keeping it after this season, so you think it would last the season if i used house insulation? i found the buttons i need there like 2 dollars a peice and i need 3 of them

just wrap it kinda tight and put aluminum foil on the outside to ease with install. heck it $10-12 a roll at Home Depot.

i was just wondering that because my dads a carpenter so we have rolls of it sitting around i think in the attic so it will be free might get it done in a second, do you think switching my warn out buttons will help with my top end? i looked at my secondary and the markings from where it slides are a little under half an inch from the end which i'm assuming is where it should be at top speed?

ok guys i got the new buttons, cost me 6 dollars, and they are way bigger than mine, mine must have been toast for at least a year...

i pulled the end piece off the can and there was an insert inside it that i couldn't get out, so i just put it back together...
pics please... as this will help with disassembley and re-assembly.

well i just put it back together, once the pipe piece comes off there's an insert that wont come out because there is welds on the can to hold the end piece that were sticking out to far so i left it alone, i got my secondary back on and tested it out, ran smoother but didn't help any, pulled my plugs off and this is what i got...
