That must have been painful. By the time mine was banging around I only had about 5 miles to go but about 100 from the time I bent it.
Question: Can I wrestle the axle out without pulling the skid? I dont think so, But I'm sleep deprived and just moved a ton of snow. lol
I'm working in tight quarters too. Cant even roll the sled up on it's side due to all the cottage crap in my shop. Atleast it's heated.
Some trails are still closed and some new detours via roads. We got turned around a few times.

Yep, I know, but I just did all the bearings.

The trails further up the peninsula are rough and some single lane. Miserable ride most times. But they are still closed.
The B110 trail that is showing open from Shelburne going north is an old railway bed. You can run 80mph all the way up to Wiarton, but it's like watching paint dry.

snows comming down fairly steady where i am, got about 6 cms in 45 mins.

LIFE MEMBER ONLY ONCE!!!
man with the snow we got last night and no wind it was perfect today.Put on 95 km's with the old ditch banger 600.New snow from 6 to 10 inches everywhere.What a hoot riding today and busting drifts,climbing hills. Was airborne a lot today,walking it on the back end of sled alot .Best snow in 3 years now and still a lot of winter left.Gonna ride next 3 days non stop since it is warming up.

Been about -20 for the last 5 days, we now have 1 cm on the ground. Explain this sport to me again living in Canada?

you should go now while there is still good snow! next week looks pretty bad. my brother went up today and said the trails were awesome! he started in durham which he said was a little rough, but once he got into owen sound area....he said they were great. you really should go man before the next thaw. all ya gotta do is drive to your sled and go for a rip! right now there is over 16,000km of trail that is open! just because it is red, doesn't mean they aren't open. my buddy was in bracebridge yesterday and today and was riding on open trails that haven't been updated on OFSC yet.
